Interpreters and translators are living in unprecedented times. As the world comes to a full stop and we face an uncertain future, there are things we can do to reduce our professional risk, survive the crisis, and hit the ground running once our lives go back to normal.
The session is sponsored by the Midwest Association of Translators and Interpreters. Fee is $10 for non-members.
Presenter: Tony Rosado, whom many of us in New Mexico know. Tony is a U.S. Department of State conference-level interpreter; a court interpreter certified by the federal courts, as well as several states. Author of two books on court interpreting, he is a visiting professor at various universities in the U.S. and overseas, a well-known conference presenter, and the author of the popular blog “The Professional Interpreter.”
