Event Details

NMTIA is holding a three-day series of workshops for interpreters and translators on April 27-28-29, featuring language-neutral as well as Spanish-specific sessions.

All workshops have been approved for CEUs by the New Mexico Administrative Office of the Courts and by the American Translators Association (maximum 10 CEUs); approval is pending from the appropriate agencies in Colorado and Texas.

The presenters: Holly Mikkelson, a court interpretation pioneer and trainer; Melinda González-Hibner, a renowned federally certified interpreter now working in U.S. District Court in Albuquerque; Jeff Robb, a chemist experienced in forensic analysis and in providing expert testimony; Teresa Miller, Second Judicial District Court Clinic Supervisor.

Participants can register per session, per day, or for the entire conference.

NMTIA members pay a reduced fee. And an early-bird discount is available for members and non-members who register BY APRIL 2.
